The Farmer’s Table at Sherman College
Sherman College’s goal for its on-campus eatery is to provide students with dining options that are congruent with the philosophy and mission of the college. With that goal in mind, the college contracts with The Farmer’s Table to operate the café. The Farmer’s Table specializes in organic food, locally grown produce, and offers vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options. The Farmer’s Table offers the Sherman College campus access to delicious, healthy food at reasonable prices.
Campus favorites and specials on the menu include The Shermanator Wrap (salsalito turkey, provolone cheese, avocado, lettuce, garlic mayo and housemade sundried tomato broccoli slaw), Shrimp and Grits, Spicy Turkey Wrap, The Boss (warm shaved pastrami and melted swiss with caramelized onions and whole grained Dijon mustard on toasted sourdough), The Flying Pig (maple ham, Applewood smoked bacon and housemade spicy pimento cheese on toasted marble rye), The Eastwood (warm shaved roast beef, melted cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and housemade horseradish sauce on toasted sourdough) and the Local Roasted Veggie Plate.
The Farmer’s Table menu also features daily soup specials and fresh baked cookies. The restaurant features Boar’s Head meats and cheeses and all flavored mayonnaise, dressings and soups are housemade. The Farmer’s Table’s main location is at 401 E. Kennedy Street in Spartanburg.
7:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday through Friday
Entire menu is available all day until 3:30; from 3:30-5:30 pm daily, a limited menu is available.
